Wealth Office Conference 2026: The winners for income are...

We evaluated 10 Providers and their Standing Offers, the Fit rating provided by a client and the public view on the presentation itself. In the second pitch contest we were looking for a provider with a convincing solution for a steady income portfolio. Emphasis was on a limited drawdowns, low volatility but a reliable income stream.

Competition was fierce in both cities. The participating providers presented different approaches to generating recurring income. While some strategies relied on high-dividend stocks and targeted stock selection, others combined systematic options strategies, direct lending, or dynamic allocation models. The following providers achieved the highest total scores in the Income category.

Zurich: Emcore Takes Gold

In Zurich, Emcore Asset Management won the Gold medal.  CEO Thomas Keller presented a very interesting and unique approach.  The company uses the collateral of an underlying portfolio to run a systematic option strategy which generates additional cashflows. The quantitative model is backed by solid risk management and only uses exchange-trade options on liquid markets.  The win, which came as a surprise to Keller, shows the interest in strategies generating additional income.

Second place went to Swisspeers, where CEO Alwin Meyer presented the company’s innovative direct lending platform. Unsurprisingly, the company later also claimed the «innovation award».  Schwyzer Kantonalbank, represented by Daniel Klee, claimed third place with a strategy that also makes use of a so-called option overlay strategy, where the selling of options generates additional income to an otherwise defensively invested portfolio.

Geneva: J. Safra Sarasin Takes Gold

In Geneva, it was J. Safra Sarasin that was able to win Gold.  Patrick Belloni presented the Equity Income Switzerland portfolio that convinced the audience. The portfolio is focused on Swiss large and mid-cap stocks and deliberately underweights the 3 largest stocks in Switzerland.

Finpact won votes by presenting the«All-Weather» portfolio, a dynamic allocation solution that changes its equity exposure depending on risk signals. Alain Beyeler and Alexander Lehmann were on stage for Finpact. Decalia won third place with another solid income strategy presented by Francois Botta.
