Wealth Needs Space

A few years ago, we asked a simple question: «What makes my life rich?» The answers were rarely about money. People spoke about friendships, meaningful encounters, experiences, art and things that matter to them. The question has stayed with us. At the Wealth Office, it continues to shape our daily work. Behind every wealth portfolio are personal goals and individual aspirations for what that wealth should make possible. We create spaces that inspire and bring these aspirations to life.

Right in the heart of Zurich, there is a place where this concept of wealth becomes visible and tangible: the Villa zum Mythenstein. The historic villa looks back on a history spanning more than 130 years. Today, it serves as the headquarters of Zwei Wealth and a place where wealth, art, and culture converge.

Since 2023, contemporary art has been a part of the Villa zum Mythenstein. Romanian artists Maria Balea and George Crîngașu kicked things off with a joint exhibition exploring the tension between the physical and digital worlds. A year later, Japanese artist Etsu Egami followed with «Rainbow» and vibrantly colored works created specifically for the villa. In 2025, the Bildhalle presented «BLOOMING» a dialogue between photography and painting exploring nature, beauty, and transience. Since April 2026, Anna Maier has been a guest artist with «Beneath the Surface», inviting viewers to look beneath the visible surface through her works.

What connects all these exhibitions is the space we wish to give to art: space for artists and their work, but also for new perspectives, encounters, and discoveries. And the story continues: Starting in September, the next exhibition by Karma International will move into the Villa zum Mythenstein, bringing new contemporary art to the historic rooms.

Impressions from the Villa

These moments show what can emerge when you create space. Perhaps this is precisely where the connection lies to what we do every day at the Wealth Office.

Here, too, it all begins with the question of what our clients wish to achieve and make possible with their wealth. We help them structure their total assets, find the right partners and solutions, and continuously monitor their performance. This creates clarity and freedom for what their wealth is meant to enable.

And so the circle closes at the Villa zum Mythenstein. Here, we talk with our clients about their wealth, their goals, and their future. At the same time, we open our doors to art, culture, and meaningful encounters. Because ultimately, both lead back to the question with which this article began: What makes my life rich?

What that means is different for everyone. We want to create space for that.
