Wealth Office Conference 2026: The Winners for Capital Growth are…

We evaluated 14 Providers and their Standing Offers, the Fit rating provided by a client and the public view on the presentation itself. In the first pitch contest we were looking for a provider with a strong solution for a Growth portfolio. Emphasis was on a long-term investment with strong track record and cost efficient implementation.

Competition was fierce in both cities, with providers presenting a wide range of investment philosophies and portfolio construction approaches. While some participants focused on concentrated stock selection, others relied on systematic investment processes and quantitative models. The following providers achieved the highest total scores in the Capital Growth category.

Zurich: Dr. Pirmin Hotz Takes Gold

In Zurich, Dr. Pirmin Hotz Vermögensverwaltungen walked away with the Gold medal.  Florian Hotz, representing the 2rd generation of the family-owned independent asset manager, backed up a strong submission with a convincing presentation. The asset manager has a strong focus on direct investments and avoids funds or structured products. The company follows an active investment style with a fundamental, bottom-up research approach.

Second place went to Lapis Finance, where CEO and Founder Andreas Wüger presented together with Portfolio Manager Carlo Giorgi.  OLZ, also an active manager with a scientific rule-based approach, came  3rd.  The solution was presented by Michael Frei from OLZ.

Geneva: OLZ Takes Gold

In Geneva, it was OLZ that was able to win Gold.  Cedric Kohler presented the Swiss Small & Mid Cap portfolio that convinced the audience and had the support of a solid track record and efficient cost offer.  The independent asset manager is based in Bern with offices in Zurich and Geneva and manages portfolio for private and institutional clients since 2001.

Capital Group, one of the largest asset managers in the world, came  2nd with their core US equity portfolio presented by Christophe Braun. NS Partners took 3rd place in Geneva with a concentrated equity portfolio focusing on developed markets presented by Pierre Mouton.
